5/6/25 — Organize Your Apps

Organizing apps on your iPhone is like sorting your favorite snacks in the pantry — keep the good stuff front and center! Group similar apps into folders. Put your most-used apps on the home screen, a s if your phone is a buffet and you’re picking the best dishes. Now your iPhone is as organized as your Tupperware collection, minus the mystery lids!

5/13/25 — Organize Your Notes

Learning to organize and format notes in the iPhone Notes app is like finally deciding to comb through that wall of Post-It notes — chaos turns into order, and suddenly, life makes sense. You’re basically a professional notetaker. Before you know it, you’re creating folders and feeling like a tech genius  —  until you accidentally delete a note and spend 10 minutes panicking before realizing there’s a “Recently Deleted” folder. Crisis averted, back to organizing like a pro!

5/20/25 — Organize Your Photos

Think of your iPhone photos like a shoebox full of old pictures, except this shoebox can hold 3,000 photos of your cat, grandkids, and that weird tree you thought looked artistic. Create new albums, designate favorite shots, hide embarrassing selfies. Now your camera roll will transform from digital clutter to a curated collection, and you’ll finally find that picture of Uncle Bob’s 90th birthday without scrolling through 300 photos of sunsets!

5/27/25 — Organize Your Webpages

Organizing webpages on your iPhone is like cleaning out your junk drawer, except instead of old batteries and expired coupons, it’s 47 tabs of recipes you’ll never make and articles you forgot to read. Close tabs you don’t need, bookmark favorite websites, and clean out your browsing history in case the FBI confiscates your phone. Now your browser won’t look like a digital hoarder’s!

Wk 1 Camera Part 1-Wed May 7

Learn why the iPhone is such a powerful tool now rivaling DSLRs by using Computation Photography. Understand quick camera access, features including hidden options. Then we’ll learn how to take & view a photo and why Auto Mode works so well.

Wk 2 Camera Part 2-Wed May 14

We’ll focus on how to get clear photos with Focus, explore different photo modes such as Portrait Mode, Macro, Night Mode, Live Photos, Selfies, and Panorama Mode. Use iPhone’s built in features to maximize interest in your photo work.

Wk 3 Photo Composition-Wed May 21

So, how do you create a beautiful and engaging photo? The rules of composition will give you the results you long for. Learn how to craft pictures you can be proud of and that mimic the best photos you see.

Wk 4 Photos: Editing iPhone-Wed May 28

Photos, while good when taken, benefit immensely from Apple Editing. Your iPhone has powerful tools including Apple’s Magic Wand that will really take your photos from just okay to WOW! Simple fixes and knowing you can always revert to your original photo will let you edit with confidence.

Wk 5 Photos: Organization-Wed June 4

We’ll explore the Photos App’s powerful organizational tools and their creative collections of your Memories and Trips. We’ll also show you how to organize your photos by creating separate albums; never “loose” a photo again.

Apple Pay – Friday, May 2

Apple Pay on your iPhone is a breeze! It’s super fast and secure for making contactless payments in stores, apps, and online. Everything’s all in the Wallet app, and you can unlock it with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. Apple Pay keeps your transactions super-secret and your card details private, so you can pay safely and easily. We’ll dive into how it works, set it up, and show you how to use it when you’re making a purchase in the store. 

Apple Cash – Friday, May 9

Do you still need to carry cash? Apple Cash is a digital payment card and money transfer service built into the iPhone Wallet app. It’s super convenient for sending, receiving, and managing money. You can even make purchases using Apple Pay or a virtual card number. In this class, we’ll go over how it works and how to set it up on your iPhone.

Translate – Friday, May 16

Ever needed a translator? The Translate app on your iPhone can do it all – translate text and voice, and even have a conversation between people with different languages. In this class, we’ll show you how to use it like a pro.

iPhone Passwords – Friday, May 23

Guess what? The iPhone now has a built-in password manager! With iOS 18, it’s got its own app dedicated to keeping your passwords safe and sound. In this class, we’ll dive into how you can use the iPhone to securely store, auto-fill, and manage your passwords. 

The Phone App – Friday, May 30

Even though we take our iPhones for granted when it comes to making and receiving calls, there’s a whole world of functionality hidden within the Phone app. In this guide, we’ll explore all the options available to handle incoming calls and how to respond to them. Plus, we’ll share some tips on how to block those pesky spam calls.
